About Counselling
In the initial 30 minutes free session, the goal is to get a feeling about whether it is comfortable for us to work together. I will talk a little about how the sessions work and then I will ask you to tell me a little about why you think you need help. 30 minutes is a very little time to share everything about your life so you don't have to be stressed about saying everything, I will guide you though it:)
There’s no need for extensive preparation. It helps to think about the issues you want to discuss, any recent events affecting your well-being, and your goals for therapy, but it doesn't have to be perfectly thought through. I will guide and ask questions.
Feeling comfortable with your psychologist is the most important thing. We are humans, we like some people more than others, and connection and trust is crucial. If you feel the fit isn’t right in the free 30 minutes session, you don't have to book your first real session. However, I encourage you to not give up and find another psychologist that you click with!
Usually, I respond in 1-2 days to your request and you can have your free 30 minute session within 7 days or later if you wish so.
Yes, there is a free 30 minutes session to see if you feel comfortable with me and to discuss how we want to work together.
